BIO

The Ennis Brothers are an award winning Country & Irish music duo built around the melodic harmonies of twin brothers Matthew and Owen Ennis. They grew up listening to the timeless country sound of their grandparents favourite artist, The Everly Brothers. It was this early experience with country music which would go on to help shape Matt and Owens sound. They both started writing songs and learning guitar in their teens. Aged 15, they  performed on television on a show called 'Class Act' on RTE singing one of their favourite Everly Brothers songs 'Bye Bye Love'.

In 2018 they were runner's up in Nathan Carter's 'Search For A Country Star' competition, winning a support slot on Nathan Carter's 'Born For The Road' concert tour performing at venues such the Theatre Royal in Waterford and The TLT in Drogheda. In 2019 supported Derek Ryan as part of his 'TEN' concert tour in venues such as INEC in Killarney, The Cork Opera House and The Royal Theatre in Castlebar.

January 2020 The Ennis Brothers won the award for 'Best Newcomer Of The Year' at the Sunday World Irish Country Music Awards. In December, performed with The Three Amigos as part of The Late Late Show Country Special on RTE alongside a host of Irish Country stars. Featuring on TG4's new series of 'Opry Le Daniel' performing a special duet with Daniel O'Donnell
